Do you feel that there are things you were once deprived of that you think you should have had access to?
We did not have money to pay school fees for our children. We need electricity for better farming equipment and health care.
How would many farmers be living now had they not been exposed to the benefits of Fair Trade?
The price would be poor without Fair Trade. The second payment is used for school fees for my 6 children.
Should farmers be able to set a price for their coffee?
I feel bad if I don’t decide on the price. I have to support so many people.
Fair Trade is supposed to instill stability within the lives of producers. What areas of your life are now more “stable” due to Fair Trade?
The price is consistent now with Fair Trade.
